Tambua Magazine joins Ugandans and the world at large is recognizing Bobi Wine for his efforts in advocating for basic human rights in the East African nation. The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Hon. Robert Kyaluganyi aka Bobi Wine is also a renowned artist who features in Music and Film too.
Bobi was arrested by the Ugandan government on 13th August, 2018 and charged with treason. Later on the charges were reduced to Illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions. He was then charged at a military court in Gulu northern Uganda. His driver Eddie Yawe was killed in his car on 14th August, 218 a day after Bobi’s arrest.
Kenyans in Nairobi are also joining the Ugandans in advocating for his release and has already organized prayers and a concert to pass their message. Bobi Wine has been fighting for basic human rights in Uganda through his music especially for the slum dwellers in Kampala.
